Al Miller was appointed the president of Canem Systems in 2010.  Al was previously the executive vice-president and vice president of Canem operations in Alberta. With 35 years of experience in Canem, Al has played a key role in establishing Canem as the industry's leading electrical contractor.

Doug Hale

Doug's experience in the electrical industry began in 1975. With 30 years’ experience in Canem, Doug has assumed a variety of roles starting as an apprentice in our Calgary Branch and then working his way up to Construction Manager. In 2008, he was promoted to Vice President, Construction and in 2010 to Executive Vice President. Doug’s role as Executive Vice President involves overall responsibility for the company's operations relating to Canem construction practices, service delivery, employee productivity and profitability. 

 

Morris Lansing

Morris has been involved in the electrical trade for 35 years. He started with Canem in 1990 and has worked in various roles. Morris established the Red Deer division while becoming the branch manager. He was promoted to Vice President, Construction in 2010. Morris oversees the electrical design on P3s, design/build projects and works with the branches on the operational side of the business

Clint Undseth

Leading the planning and implementation of Canem’s value creation programs is an integral part of Clint’s role. Bringing Building Performance to life is central to Clint’s focus. His career started as an electrician and technologist. His sales and marketing skills were developed with global thought leaders such as AMP Inc. and IBM Global Services. Clint is passionate about innovative collaboration and entrepreneurship.

Clint is a student of a traditional form of Tibetan Pak Hok Kung Fu.

Jeff Luccock

 Jeff joined Canem in 2009 through a business acquisition in the Vancouver market. As a Certified Management Accountant and with his previous finance and information technology experience, Jeff brings a strategic approach to Canem’s future growth objectives. In 2011, Jeff led the integration team for the McCaine acquisition which expanded Canem’s geographically coverage into Manitoba.

Jeff enjoys coaching youth soccer and spending time with his family.

Julie Lee

Manager, Human Resources and Strategic Change

Julie joined Canem in 2004 and is responsible for Canem’s Human Resource strategies. Coming from a diversified background which includes a Master of Business Administration degree and positions in public relations, communication management and publishing, Julie provides a proactive approach to employee relations and employee development.

Julie enjoys being active and outdoors and spends her free time doing water sports, land trekking, yoga and traveling.

Bill Oulton

Risk Manager

Bill joined Canem in 2007 and is responsible for the implementation of Canem’s risk management strategies. A primary focus is overseeing the development of in-house job management software solutions, used on all of Canem’s large projects.

Bill is both an avid golfer and hockey enthusiast, and enjoys spending weekends with his family at their cabin.

 

Neil Moffatt, NCSO, GSC

Neil is currently the Corporate Safety Officer for Canem Systems Ltd., working out of the Calgary office, with other offices in Edmonton, Nanaimo, Red Deer, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg.

Neil has served as a Director on the Merit Contractors Association Board since July of 1999, and is also currently Chairman of the Merit Contractors Association Board of Trustees.

Neil is currently the Presiding Officer for the Electrical LAC in Calgary and is a member of the Electrical PAC.

Neil began his career as an electrical apprentice in Red Deer in 1983, and moved back to Calgary in 1985, where he completed his apprenticeship, and attained his inter-provincial journeyman ticket in 1988 with Canem. Work experience with Canem includes operating a service truck, supervision of crews and field superintendent.

Neil enjoys golfing, curling and camping, and is active in the community, with a passion for coaching hockey and baseball.
