Project Description:
Completed in 2004, the four star Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Victoria and consists of 236 suites in 16 stories (141,000 sq.ft.) with three levels (56,000 sq.ft.) of underground parking.  Building amenities include extensive health facilities with indoor pool, hot tub, and steam room.  There is 5,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. 

The building’s electrical systems include:

• Indoor unit sub-station
• Emergency power generator
• High-rise fire alarm system
• Programmable lighting and dimming controls
• Sound system
• CCTV system
• Extensive site and landscape lighting

Award

Canem won the Vancouver Regional Construction Association Electrical Contractor Award of Merit in recognition of exceptional attention to quality, teamwork, problem solving and innovation on the Marriott Hotel Project.
