Project Description: The Anthony Henday Ring Road is a P3 (Private, Public Partnership) project under the Government of Alberta. The project was initiated as a solution to reduce traffic congestion in Edmonton south.
The project comprises of over 11 kilometers of new roadway including 23 bridge structures as well as many collectors and ramps.
Construction was started on the south east portion in the summer of 2004 and over the course of time, has employed over 300 workers and many pieces of earth moving equipment.
Canem is providing the electrical service for the entire length of the project including:

Distribution points, galvanized poles, underground teck & fixtures

Overhead structural signage & message boards

Supply & installation of traffic signal bases, poles, indicating lights and traffic controller
The project is scheduled for completion in Fall 2007.
