Project Description: Situated in the heart of Victoria, the Belvedere is a 16 storey, mixed-use concrete tower that consists of 77 suites and ground level retail space. The boutique-hotel style building includes suite types ranging from a 2 bedroom unit to a 2 bedroom plus den and media room homes.
The Belvedere is the final phase of a multi-year construction project that has transformed a two-acre parking lot into a mix of commercial and residential suites. The City planners wanted this spectacular piece of real estate to be aesthetically appealing to everyone, not just residents. A public plaza and artwork form a natural walkway. A water feature has been designed to integrate the plaza with the neighboring Marriott hotel (built by Canem).
Residents have views of the Inner Harbor, Beacon Hill Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The high-rise building incorporates extensive site and landscape lighting, indoor unit sub-station, an emergency power generator, and a high-rise fire alarm system.
Another Canem project success, the Belvedere was completed on time and on budget.
