Project name: Mount Royal Student Residences Project type: Institutional Location: Calgary, Alberta      Completion date: August 2003 Project contact: Al Miller General contractor: PCL Construction Electrical budget: $2.1 million     The MRC Student Residence is a multi-building compound for students attending the college including: 2 four storey apartment buildings 1 five storey apartment building 1 five storey apartment complete with full basement 4 six unit townhouses 1 four unit townhouses All apartments are cast in place concrete structure with steel studs. All townhouse structures were constructed in wood frame.  The compound can facilitate up to 594 occupants. Most of the rooms are double occupancy with a community Kitchen/Living room that is shared by 4 students. All Fire Alarm and Security is tied into the main Campus Security. All rooms have full high speed internet service for each student. One building is used as a Hotel in summer months when school is out.
