The building is attached to the Aberdeen Mall shopping center in the heart of down town Richmond. The retail units on the main floor are directly accessible from the street while the units on the second level are accessed via the adjacent mall or parking structure. The electrical installation included the intergation of a modified two stage fire alarm system with the existing mall fire alarm system so that the two systems would work in unision with each other.
